I offer LGBTQIA+ affirming care for adults and young adults in New York and across over 40 states through PsyPact, with virtual therapy tailored to each client's unique needs. My practice is especially supportive of undergraduate/graduate students, healthcare professionals, and those managing anxiety/mood concerns, identity development, or academic/professional stress. I have also received advanced training in postpartum mood/anxiety disorders through Postpartum Support International, which allows me to help new parents dealing with perinatal concerns. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and relational psychotherapy, and provide documentation for out-of-network insurance reimbursement and sliding scale rates when needed.
Hi, I’m Rich a fantasy nerd, adrenaline junky, and gamer. i am also an experienced counselor who offers a grounded, experiential approach to therapy and coaching. I have extensive experience working with young adults through life transitions, identity formation, confidence building, and anxiety. My time in the outdoor industry teaching snowboarding, climbing, and backpacking has shown me that people are capable of a lot more then they know. My goal is to share these lessons with you and help you become the person you want to be. Therapy is weird, vulnerable, and a little awkward to start. Reaching out is the first step to that and one that I try to make easier by just connecting as a fellow human and not a professional robot. Thanks for reading and hope to talk to you soon.

Are you ready to: Make a change? Make a decision? Find a solution? Explore who you are? Explore what you want? Or maybe all of the above? Let me help you enhance your power. It can be difficult to seek therapy, yet it can be empowering once you’ve begun. My clinical approach is grounded in humanistic and person centered therapies which allows me to continuously adapt and grow based on the needs of my clients and their personal experiences. Since 2014, I have been a practicing clinician aiding individuals with a wide range of subject matter within various treatment environments. I have found the best outcomes arise from collaboration in the therapeutic alliance. Together we identify patterns, understand motives/points of view, and integrate thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. My goal is to aid in positive outcomes derived from awareness, skill building, holistic well-being, and healing. Modalities: Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Challenging Thoughts, Reality Therapy
Dr. Kelsey George is a licensed professional counselor, holding licenses both in Pennsylvania and Colorado. She holds a Ph.D. in counselor education from Duquesne University. She is currently an affiliate faculty at Regis University in Denver, Colorado and a certified yoga teacher. My best work is with adults, emerging adults, couples, and families suffering from mood disorders, interpersonal conflict, adjustment, stress, anxiety, and depression. My treatment approach includes mindfulness practices, positive psychology, relational communication, ACT, yoga therapy, ketamine-assisted, Buddhist psychology, and CBT.
I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist offering therapy for individuals, couples, and families in Pennsylvania and New Hampshire. I’m also the founder of Nourished Resilience, a practice rooted in the belief that healing happens in safe, connected relationships—within ourselves and with others. I work with adolescents (14+), adults, and couples navigating eating disorders, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, and relationship concerns. I also help clients explore the impact of family-of-origin dynamics and rebuild trust in themselves and their relationships. With training in both individual and relational systems, I offer therapy that honors the complexity of your inner and outer worlds. In addition to clinical work, I’ve held leadership roles in supervision and program development, and I bring that depth of experience into each session. Whether you're seeking clarity, change, or connection, I meet you with warmth, transparency, and a belief in your resilience.
Main ways of thinking that I lean towards are: compassion-focused, psychodynamic, attachment styles, and emotion-focused. I've been described by clients as having a positive unconditional regard, direct, and being able to challenge them to help take steps toward growth. I've also had my clients enjoy adding Brainspotting to their sessions! If you find yourself unable to turn your thoughts off, we can work on making your thoughts and emotions feel more manageable for you. Maybe right now grief, anxiety, or depression are really loud, and together to make them feel less intimidating. We can also work on communication skills, relationship patterns, setting boundaries (knowing when to say no or when to push yourself). I offer in-person or telehealth sessions on Tuesday, Thursday & Friday. Mondays are only available for telehealth. I also for a free 15minute consultation. To schedule you can reach out by email, phone or click my Headway profile. Through my Headway profile you can also check right away if I take your insurance. I do provide a sliding scale for those paying out of pocket.
I am licensed in DC, MD, NJ, PA, and VA and provide flexible teletherapy to fit your busy schedule! I hold advanced certification in an evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) model developed by Dr. David Burns at Stanford. I am also certified in CBT for insomnia (CBT-I) developed by Dr. Gregg Jacobs at Harvard. My approach is empathic, structured and active. I use brief mood surveys before and after sessions, to monitor progress and give you a chance to provide me with feedback. I will also expect you to practice new skills between sessions. When we start working together, I will learn about your unique situation to help us set goals and develop a personalized treatment plan. My clients typically start experiencing relief within a few sessions, and our work together results in lasting joy and fulfillment. We believe that psychological well-being and healing come from our ability to foster awareness, understanding and acceptance of our experience of life as a whole - the good, the bad and everything in between. Talking with a therapist can often help facilitate this kind of personal growth. We believe that through developing a trusting relationship, therapist and client can explore aspects of the client’s struggle and the experience of relating to each other in deeper, more honest and productive ways. While each therapist in our practice has a unique approach to the work, we all share a deep appreciation for the importance of meaning making and lived experience in understanding human experience and effective therapy.
I welcome teens and adults to my practice. There are many reasons that lead to the decision to seek therapy, and I believe in meeting you where you are in this process. Empathy, compassion, and patience are the foundation of my practice. I believe in utilizing the power of the therapeutic relationship in combination with a variety of evidence based practices to empower clients to learn the tools they need to work towards their goals. I use mindfulness based practices, calling on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help individuals better understand themselves and develop strategies to navigate life's stressors. I have experience working with individuals with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, adjustment concerns, and chronic health conditions. I have specialized training working with college students as well as individuals with histories of trauma and relational challenges.
College is a time of frequent change, new experiences, identity exploration and uncertainty; juggling academic demands with everything else can prove daunting. If you're feeling that something needs to change, you're in the right place. Let's chat! Hi, I'm Em! I previously worked in Seton Hill University's Counseling Center, providing individual therapy to college students for a wide variety of issues, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, autism spectrum disorder, LGBTQIA+ issues, relationship and interpersonal problems, grief, trauma, academic stress, adjustment to college, and identity exploration. My approach is relaxed, conversational, and at times fun! I am non-judgmental and non-pathologizing. I blend traditional talk therapy (where we explore your thoughts and feelings to increase insight) and skill building (where we practice techniques to soothe and minimize distress.) You'll find me at Elements Counseling & Wellness Spa in the east end of Pittsburgh. We're a 15-20 minute drive from most of Pittsburgh's universities, but I also offer telehealth sessions. I have weekend and evening availability.
Opening up is no small thing, but it's also the fundamental thing that gives folks relief. To this end, I try to make therapy a natural process and most of my clients say that I feel like "talking to a real person." I developed my style by working with university students on a number of campuses who taught me to drop the artificial formalities, ask deeper questions, be upfront with my care, and say what I mean. In general, I start from the standpoint that anyone seeking therapy has come by their pain honestly and that much of what folx find distressing in themselves is a reasonable response to what has happened to them. Thus, I am unlikely to give rote advice and more likely to partner with you in unpacking your past, exploring your feelings, reaching creative solutions, and lifting what's blocking you from moving toward your version of the good life. In terms of specialties, I help students work through the kinds of relationship troubles (family, romantic, friendships etc) that leave people feeling lonely, anxious, inadequate, seeking approval, depressed, misunderstood, self-critical, or slow to let others in. Queer folx, Student Veterans, adult children of alcoholics, overachievers, burnt out students, undergrad, law, medical, and grad students, young professionals, and folks in creative fields have found me helpful. Importantly, for therapy to be a liberating space, people need the freedom to talk about how their lives are shaped by their sociocultural identities as well as corresponding experiences of prejudice, marginalization, and erasure. Conversations about politics, class, race, religion, gender, sexuality and all the "isms" are fair game and also integral to figuring out how to live with more ease in these difficult times.
I am a Licensed Clinical Therapist with over 15 years of experience supporting adolescents, adults, couples, and families through a wide range of mental health challenges. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices. I believe in creating a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to grow. My clinical background includes extensive work in high schools, outpatient mental health settings, and substance abuse treatment programs. This diverse experience has given me a deep understanding of the complex issues individuals and families face today. I specialize in working to help individuals and couples address and manage anxiety, depression, life transitions, family/relationship issues, and self-esteem concerns. Utilizing an eclectic approach from a strengths-based perspective, I help clients to explore their difficulties, understand their strengths and weaknesses, and develop insight to achieve their personal goals. If you’re ready to begin this journey, or even just considering it, I invite you to reach out. I’d be honored to walk alongside you.

You are surrounded by people and still doing this alone. That is one of the most common things students bring me: a full schedule, a workable GPA or a funded assistantship, and a quiet sense that the path you are on was chosen for you rather than by you. Sometimes it shows up as anxiety that arrives before every deadline. Sometimes it is a loss you never had room to grieve because the semester did not stop for it. Sometimes it is the question you cannot safely ask your advisor, your parents, or your cohort without it costing you something. I spent 24 years in higher education before I became a counselor. I was an undergraduate and a graduate student, a program coordinator, an assistant professor, and a state extension specialist at Penn State and Ohio State. I know what comps do to a person's sleep, what it is like to change direction three years into a degree, and how hard it is to find someone who understands both your field and your wellbeing. I went back to school part-time for five years while teaching, parenting two young kids, and holding a marriage together, and I founded AutumnSpring Counseling® for people in exactly that kind of transition. My work sits at the intersection of grief, career, and mental health, because those three rarely travel alone: a change of major is also a loss, and a career decision is also an identity question. I am Joshua A. Kirby, LPC, CCC, GC-C, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with national certification in career counseling and grief counseling. I practice Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, which is present-focused and built on clarifying your actual values and acting on them. Sessions are direct and structured. Expect honesty, not just an hour of agreement. My office is in The Allenway Building on South Allen Street, walkable from campus, with a private waiting room and a separate exit. Telehealth is available throughout Pennsylvania, and I am also registered to see clients located in Delaware, Florida, Idaho, Montana, South Carolina, and Vermont, which matters if you go home for the summer or study away. AutumnSpring Counseling® is a private-pay practice and does not bill insurance, so there are no coverage limits, no insurer-required diagnosis, and no plan administrator shaping your care. Current rates and payment methods, including HSA and FSA cards, are listed at autumnspring.co/fees. If you want to find out whether we are a good fit, the next step is a no-cost consultation call. Read more at www.autumnspring.co, then email josh@autumnspring.co or call 814-826-3737.
I specialize in supporting international students as they navigate the unique challenges of adapting to a new culture, managing academic pressures, and balancing personal and family expectations. Together, we can work through feelings of homesickness, anxiety, identity shifts, or loneliness in a safe, nonjudgmental space. My approach is collaborative and compassionate, with a focus on building resilience, fostering self-awareness, and helping students feel more grounded and connected.
Our aim is to create a collaborative, person-centered healing relationship with clients. The dynamic of this co-created space is one where you can explore and find your unique tools, techniques, and strengths to empower your authentic self, as well as your understanding of the world around us. Our intention in all levels of our work is to decolonize the therapeutic space. We are LGBTQIA2S+ affirming and sex-positive. We are dedicated to the continuous engagement--both professionally and personally--that this requires. Most of us identify as queer and/or neurodivergent, and several of us also live with chronic illnesses. We believe that clients have the right to interview their clinicians and choose someone they can ask questions to and get honest answers!
