Our clinicians provide a compassionate, judgment-free space where students can feel heard, understood, and empowered. We believe therapy should feel approachable and supportive not intimidating. Our therapists use evidence-based approaches while meeting students exactly where they are, helping them build coping skills, improve emotional regulation, and develop healthier relationships with themselves and others. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, burned out, struggling with mental health symptoms, or simply needing extra support, our team is here to walk alongside you.
I've spent 18 years working with teens as a high school counselor and teacher. Now as an LPC Associate, I use this previous experience to support adolescents and young adults as they navigate today's challenges. As a former educator, I have seen first hand the pressure that academics, social groups, and today's changing world can place on adolescents. Teens develop anxiety, stress, and negative coping skills to deal with this pressure. I help adolescents overcome these challenges by helping them explore their values, emotions, practice new coping strategies, and develop confidence that they will carry into adulthood.
I am so glad you stopped by! I am eager to work with college students, like yourself, and have a background in working with both undergrad and grad students in the Dallas area. In therapy, I offer a safe and confidential relationship, where you can hope to gain self-esteem, relevant skills, and personal strength, learning to more fully trust yourself and others. A great deal of my clients are wrestling with depression, anxiety, and self-worth due to family/childhood issues and relational struggles that tend to become more apparent once they have entered college. Together, we dig into these hard conversations and I help you relate differently to anxiety, pain, fear, and sadness, while also coming alongside you in creating the life you desire. Finding a therapist you connect with is an important aspect of effective therapy. I will serve you with respect and empathy while encouraging you in your personal journey of growth. I am both honored and committed to meeting you where you are, learning where you want to go, and helping you find the best way there. I hope to talk to you soon!

According to the American Psychological Association, mental health therapy can help a person going through a challenging life event or situation, treat mental health conditions like anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder, and address symptoms like sadness, guilt, or anger. The process is also helpful when dealing with relationships with family, friends, and coworkers. I work with adults and adolescents, as well as couples and groups. I have found a niche working with first responders experiencing moral injury, generational trauma and estrangement, adoption, abortion, and miscarriage issues, chronic pain, DNA testing matters, grief, loss, and suicide prevention, intimacy issues, legal/offender issues, overcoming church hurt or past abuse, parental alienation, sexual assault/rape, and low self-esteem and self-confidence. I would be honored to work with you as you begin to live your best life. Counseling can help you as you confront long-standing life issues, or specific concerns that need to be addressed. The length of counseling can range from several weeks to several months, depending on the number of issues that will be discussed. Hello! My name is Renee and I have been a therapist for 17 years. I meet my clients with empathy, compassion, and the greatest respect for having the courage to look at oneself with honesty and embrace change. We all have the innate capacity to heal ourselves and the natural desire to grow and be the best version of ourselves. By creating a safe, non-judgmental space, I aim to help clients understand themselves better, uncover their own capacity to heal from pain, and ultimately find more meaning, authenticity, and joy in their life. I am experienced in helping adults and adolescents to recover from traumatic events and manage Anxiety. My approach emphasizes the mind body connection utilizing CBT, Mindfulness, and Somatic Awareness. I am certified in EMDR, a research based treatment for PTSD. I especially enjoy working with college students as they navigate the stresses of university life and transitioning to adulthood. As a first generation college student myself, I recall the self doubts, anxiety, and identity shifts that can accompany the college experience.

I work with women of all ages struggling with life transitions, depression, anxiety, PTSD, attachment issues, and codependency. In the therapy world, a big focus is often on the client learning to trust the therapist and building a strong therapeutic relationship. While I agree this is an essential catalyst for growth, I also believe it is equally important for the client to learn to trust themselves. I focus on empowering my clients to understand how their past experiences have impacted their current relationships, with self and others, and how they can change these patterns. I am a trained EMDR therapist and I utilize this evidence-based treatment to help my clients heal from emotional distress caused by trauma and adverse life experiences. I also specialize in Client Centered Therapy, Attachment Therapy, The Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My clients and I collaborate on which approach is best for them and their goals. This work includes examining past experiences to make sense of current maladaptive patterns, practicing mindfulness, learning new skills, and examining client values and goals for future relationships. My goal is for my clients to feel empowered and able to view themselves with self-compassion and trust they have the capacity for change.

Hi! I’m Dariel; like Ariel, but with a D! I am licensed in IL(LCPC) and TX(LPC). I received my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology. I am a Certified Daring Way Facilitator--A highly experiential methodology based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. I integrate her work and research of vulnerability and shame resiliency into all of my work with clients in their personal and professional lives. When I see clients, I like to work from a strengths based approach. We focus not only on what you are struggling with, but also what you have done well in the past or are currently doing well. I believe it is as equally important to focus on strengths and effective skills, as it is to focus on weaknesses and maladaptive behaviors, so that you can gain greater awareness and deeper meaning on your healing journey. I enjoy working collaboratively with my clients to: Focus on supporting improving self-esteem, accessing inner strengths and resilience, and helping to learn more about self by exploring thoughts and feelings. Provide tools to learn how to manage difficult emotions so that you can meet your identified goals. Normalize that healing is about understanding our fragile parts--shifting from places that keep us stuck, and going to places that help us soar.
