Therapists for college students near Boston, MA
My offer to you something is simple and steady: a space where you do not have to perform, impress, or hold it all together. A space where you can exhale. I am especially drawn to working with people in transition especially college students standing on the edge of adulthood and professionalism. Transitions can shake your confidence. They can stir up old shame, old stories, old fears about not being enough. But they are also sacred turning points. They are invitations. Together, we will slow down and tune in. We will examine the narratives you’ve inherited and gently decide which ones no longer serve you. My hope for you is not that you leave therapy “better," but that you leave more fully yourself. I believe healing happens when someone sits with you long enough for you to remember your own strength. I will meet you with depth, honesty, humor and warmth. I will challenge you when needed, celebrate you when earned, and hold the mirror steady when you forget who you are. You do not have to worry alone. Everyone has a story. I look forward to hearing yours.
I am currently accepting clients for telehealth appointments for September 2024. If you are feeling overwhelmed, out of balance, or stuck, let's connect. I integrate compassion and humor in a gentle way to help you understand your emotions and gain control over how you respond to your experience. I particularly enjoy working with students navigating college, family and life transitions. I'm a cis-gender, queer identified therapist and enjoy working with people in the LGBTQIA+ community. I work from an IFS informed lens and incorporate DBT skills and mindfulness. Together, we will develop a plan that works best for you. Please reach out if you feel I could be helpful in your current journey! I currently only offer Telehealth sessions by video to individuals in Massachusetts.
Hi there! My name is Julie (she/her), and I am a therapist with a clinical social work background. I work with folks who have a variety of concerns. Together, we discuss various tools to help manage stressors and feelings.
I offer a compassionate, collaborative space where individuals can explore challenges, build resilience, and reconnect with their inner strengths. I specialize in working with adults navigating anxiety, life transitions, relationship issues, and trauma. Drawing from evidence-based approaches like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and psychodynamic techniques, I tailor therapy to meet your unique needs and goals. My work is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and deep respect for your lived experience. I strive to create a space where you feel seen, heard, and supported. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or seeking clarity, I'm here to walk alongside you in your healing and growth.

Maybe you’re the one who always holds it together for everyone else, but inside, you're running on empty. Maybe you’re constantly second-guessing yourself or struggling to say no, even when you're burned out. Or maybe you're in the middle of a big life change and everything feels uncertain or heavier than you expected. You don’t have to do it alone. If this resonates, I’d be honored to walk alongside you. Reach out when you’re ready—we’ll take it from there, together.
