Hi, I’m Dr. Patricia Taylor (she/her), a licensed clinical psychologist who works with college students facing challenges like anxiety, depression, academic stress, identity exploration, and life transitions.
In therapy, I use a collaborative, evidence-based approach—primarily Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). That means we won’t just talk about what’s going on; we’ll also explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors interact, and work together to develop tools and strategies that can help you feel more in control. If you're stuck in cycles of overthinking, self-doubt, or procrastination, CBT can help us break those patterns and create meaningful change.
I also integrate mindfulness, acceptance-based strategies, and motivational interviewing when it’s helpful—because therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and your experience is unique.
I’m especially passionate about supporting LGBTQIA+ students, students navigating questions around identity and purpose, and those juggling high expectations with their mental health. Therapy with me is compassionate, curious, and focused on what matters most to you. I offer virtual sessions and am licensed in multiple states, so accessing care is flexible and convenient.
If you're ready to feel more grounded, less overwhelmed, and more aligned with your values, I’d love to connect.
